Archbishop Makarios 1 was produced for my 2023 Cyprus show in Nicosia, this purple on gold screen print is of a section of the statue of Archbishop Makarios.  I wanted to take a small section of the statue that to most would not be recognisable, but Cypriots would still be able to identify this highly influential figure.
